Emma Kraus is an illustrator + professional fangirl currently residing in New York City. She received her Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the University of Iowa, with a focus in cartooning and sequential art. After years of adventures in the art and hardcore scene in the great Midwest, Emma relocated to The Big Apple where she has worked with both emerging and established authors on bringing their characters to life through cover art and comics. Since 2023, Emma’s work has been featured at pop-culture and comic based shows like New York Comic Con, Brooklyn Independent Comics Showcase, and FanX. Taking inspiration from the DC comics, old-school horror, and emo music, Emma creates colorful and energetic interpretations of both beloved and original characters.
